In the spinning process, SpandexStretch is an important process parameter, which affects the elasticity of CoveredYarn and fabric, as well as the strength elongation, evenness and creep properties of the covered yarn. The predraft ratio of spandex is too small, which can not give full play to the advantage of elastic fabric elasticity. When the draft is too high, it is difficult to spin yarn, and it is easy to cause yarn breaking, and the product quality decreases accordingly. In addition, the percentage content of spandex also affects the elasticity of the covered yarn, high content, good elasticity. Under the condition of certain specifications of spandex wire, the percentage of spandex wire decreases with the increase of drafting ratio, that is, the predrafting ratio of spandex is inversely proportional to the percentage of spandex yarn.
The strength elongation of air coated yarn increases with the increase of the predrafting ratio of spandex. When the drawing reaches a certain value, the retraction of spandex makes the outer fiber curl. When the predraft multiple is increased appropriately, the percentage of spandex is reduced and the curling degree of outsourcing fiber is large. However, when the draft is too large, the spandex deformation amplitude is close to the critical value of deformation, which will reduce the strength and elongation of the covered yarn, but is beneficial to the uniform drying of the covered yarn.
Creep is the phenomenon of deformation with time under constant drafting force. The creep resistance of conventional coated yarn is the best when the predraft of spandex is 3.5 times. Specific according to the use of adjustment and its downstream fabric style appropriate adjustment.
In addition to the requirement of spandex drafting ratio in air coated yarn, twist is another important technological parameter of mechanical coated yarn, which affects yarn quality, strength and elongation and evenness of strip. The twist increases the binding force between the outsource fiber and the spandex, making the coated yarn stronger. The twist is too low, the outsourcing fiber is loose, which affects the coating effect and the core phenomenon, so the twist should be high when the mechanical coating. But the twist is too high, the fabric feel stiff, drape poor. Generally, the twist should be adjusted according to the change of the number of Denny of yarn and the style of fabric. For example, the twist of N40D+20D wrapping is about 600 twist, while the twist of N70D+40D or T150D+40D wrapping is about 480 twist. The elongation of the machine package is also mainly determined by the performance of the spandex core wire. The twist is too large and the outer fiber is too tight. However, the elastic effect of the spandex wire can not be fully played, so that the elongation decreases. As the twist increases, the evenness of the strip improves. The twist is too small, and the outsourcing fiber is loose. In the spinning process, the fiber will move slightly along the yarn axis due to friction and other reasons, so the stem deteriorates.
